Social Media Manager



The Social Media Manager should have experience managing commercial social media platforms including experience in content creation (visual and written), social media execution, community management, and reporting and optimization. The job will include concepting new social ideas with the digital team and developing social post copy to support the visual assets created by the content creator. This person should understand best practices across social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Twitter. An understanding of social media analytics, reporting, and optimization is also important. what we're looking for

  • Working with the account, digital and creative teams to execute social media marketing strategies & campaigns.
  • Develop copy for social media content.
  • Execute against social media calendar, ensuring all assets are developed, proofed, approved by stakeholders, and posted on time.
  • Use social media marketing tools to amplify client brands and marketing messages.
  • Ongoing analysis & optimization of clients' social media outcomes, identification of weaknesses, and recommendations for improvements. Collaboration with the team to vet new ideas and integrate them into the plan.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to review and finalize materials before publishing.
  • Update project management documentation/software based on project status.


  • 1-3 years of experience managing commercial social media platforms.
  • Social media copywriting experience.
  • Ability to self-manage, stay on task, and keep projects on time.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills to enable work across different stakeholders onsite and off-site.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tactics with the ability to develop content or optimize content to perform effectively in each medium.
  • Understanding of online communities and best practices for brand participation
