what we're looking for

The Account Director is astrategic thinker with excellent client management skills. The Account Directorwill lead the client service team while managing and growing clientrelationships and driving revenue growth for the agency. This person isresponsible for the strategic direction of clients and will collaborate withother strategists in the company to develop long-term strategic plans for theclient. The Account Director is accountable for delivering effective work thatdelivers on client objectives while ensuring the work is profitable for theagency. This person is responsible for managing client relationships,developing marketing strategies and plans to accomplish client objectives andsteward projects through the advertising agency alongside the account serviceteam. This person has experience managing a team of people and managing adynamic client list.

KeyResponsibilities:

·       Buildand maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point ofcontact

·       Developand execute strategies to grow existing client accounts, ensuring high clientsatisfaction and retention.

·       Leadand manage a team of account managers and executives, providing guidance,support, and mentorship to drive team performance and exceed clientexpectations.

·       Identifynew business opportunities and work with the new business team to win newclients and revenue for the agency.

·       Collaboratewith the creative, communications, production, and strategy teams to developand execute integrated advertising campaigns across various channels, includingdigital, social, print, and broadcast.

·       Manageclient budgets and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and tothe highest standards of quality.

·       Stayup-to-date with industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices tocontinuously improve agency offerings and client results.

·       Presentagency work and strategic recommendations to clients, leveraging data andinsights to support recommendations and drive client buy-in.

·       Developproject estimates that reflect scope of work.

·       Incollaboration with the Communications team, monitor campaign performance andprovide regular reports and analysis to clients and internal team

·       Abilityto work in and coach team members within various platforms to support theexecution of work as needed including, email service providers, marketingautomation platforms, website content management systems, customer relationshipmanagement systems, etc.

·       Workingwith the team to develop content themes and calendars for multi-channelcommunication.

·       Abilityto provide clear, decisive feedback to the team.

·       Abilityto assess the priority of projects and direct team members towards thosepriorities.

·       Managementresponsibilities with direct reports as well as leadership responsibilitieswithin the agency.

·       Professional,clear, and friendly client communication. Constantly keeping the client awareof project status and ensuring accurate documentation is provided throughoutthe process.

·       Abilityto engage impactfully with clients in virtual or live meetings with strongverbal communication skills.

·       Abilityto anticipate client needs and the needs of the team to ensure the team isprepared for each step in the project and the client feels cared for.

qualifications:

Qualifications

  • ·       BA,BS, or MBA degree with an emphasis in Marketing Communications, or relatedfield; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • ·       8-10years of experience in marketing & advertising.
  • ·       Advertisingagency experience required.
  • ·       Excellentwritten/verbal communication and time management skills.
  • ·       Abasic understanding of Web technology platforms.
  • ·       Deepunderstanding of advertising industry trends, best practices, and technologyadvancements
  • ·       Strategicplanning experience.
  • ·       Excellentorganizational and project management skills, with the ability to managemultiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • ·       Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-drivendecisions
  • ·       Mustbe self-motivated and a lover of learning.
